PhysicsLAB
Welcome to Mainland's online physics program, PhysicsLAB™!

We are starting our 12th year and our curriculum integration with the classroom management system LearningXchange is now complete. Click on any linked course section to track my students' daily assignments.
Our Table of Contents and Search Engine will allow you to locate curriculum by course, curriculum group, topic, skill, and keyword. Please take a moment and generalize yourself with the directions on how to use PhysicsLAB. Any original curriculum that was not converted can still be accessed by visiting the companion website for our first edition, Curriculum Guide, where information is organized into content areas and instructional units for visiting educators.

Collateral math lessons, studyaids, and practice pages that support over 150 algebra, geometry, trig, calculus, and statistics topics needed for the successful completion of high school science courses are available through AlgebraLAB, an two-year project funded by Florida's Enhancing Education Through Technology grants.(2002-04)

Before visiting a specific class, you might take a minute to complete a tour showing the history of our online physics program, to review the results from the five end-of-year CCTT surveys, or to learn about PhysicsLAB's developer, Mrs. Colwell.

Mainland, a comprehensive high school and three-time National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, is located in Daytona Beach, Florida. This Fall we will be starting our third year in our new facilities. Mainland is one of nine high schools in Volusia County.
