Demonstration: Infinite Images

When two plane mirrors are set parallel to each other, the images that are seen "stretch to infinity."
Note that you alternately see the front and then the back of the coke can.
Whenever you see the "front" (horizontal label for Coca Cola) you are looking at an image that initially starts in the back mirror.
Whenever you see the "back" (vertical label for Coca Cola) you are looking at an image that initially starts in the front mirror.
The following three mirrors are taped together to form an equilateral triangle (60° angles)
.
Inside, on the table surface, is a triangular sheet of construction paper that has each corner (one-third of each respective edge) replaced with a different color of paper.
When you look inside, you again see "infinite images."
