Refer to the following information for the next six questions.

As shown in the picture below, a small steel ball is rolling horizontally at 3 m/sec across one of the landings of a long, rectangular staircase. After it leaves the landing it strikes the surface of the 4th step.
 
(a) How much time did the ball spend in the air if each step is 0.18 m high and 0.3 m wide? 

(b) What was the ball’s exact range after it left the edge of the landing? 

(c) What was the ball’s resultant impact velocity when it struck the 4th step? 

(d) At what angle did the ball strike the 4th step? 

(e) If a second ball was rolling with twice as much speed across the same landing, would it also land on the 4th step?
 
(e) Support your choice with specifics.
